We have arranged for all the children in YR to visit the Gordon Brown Centre in Hook for an activity day on Tuesday 14th MayThe trip will introduce our ’Minibeasts’ topic and will give children a memorable opportunity to be involved in hands-on investigation of minibeasts in a range of habitats and to respond to this experience through sculpture.  We will be travelling in two coaches, leaving school at approximately 9.15am and returning in time for the children to be collected by you at the usual time of 3:10pm.

All children will need to wear suitable outdoor clothing and will need to bring a backpack to carry their own lunch and a bottle of water to drink. They do not need to wear their school uniform. Depending on the weather at the time, wellingtons, school shoes or trainers may be worn and everyone will need a raincoat even if the day starts out dry.  If it is a hot day, please apply sun cream to your child before they come to school.

Please return the permission slip by Wednesday 1st May.
